Brave New World

I just finished my first book on my list for summer reading.  Brave New World by Aldous Huxley is a fantastic book about a "civilized world"; a world where there is never unhappiness, where anything you could ever desire is available with the push of a button, where death is just part of the daily routine.  A book with ideas and insights far beyond the age it was written,  Brave New World has inspired me to go back and read George Orwell's 1984 (my most hated book of all high school required reading). Written in the same time with similar thought processes, Brave New World and 1984 are very alike in their uniqueness to all literature.  This book is definitely one to look up. Thought provoking and strange, it not only makes me question our world today, but confirms my religious beliefs and societal views.
